"Family Vacation Recordings" = five songwriters looking to get outside their skins. We were gathered at Robyn's & Michael's Venice Beach apartment jamming and talking when the Muse walked in. What was supposed to be dinner turned into a creative soup of songwriting. "Everything Divine" was the first song we wrote, so we took that as our name. Over the following year, around tours and travel, we met when we could -- drawn together by friendship and the joy of creating. Soon a new desire bubbled up to get the songs on disc. Making and recording these songs was a great break -- a vacation -- from each of our usual artistic ways.

Snapshot memories: singing in a close-mic'd clothes closet, playing in Burton's Bali-style living room -- all captured on a Roland VS-1680!
